Jess Parker

Our MC for the Stories in Stone 2026 conference is Jess Parker, returning to the role she performed so well at the 2025 event.

Jess is a history researcher who is currently completing a Bachelor of Historical Inquiry and Practice with the University of New England. She has a passion for historic cemeteries and a keen fascination with the stories of their residents. She has presented numerous public talks for The Royal Historical Society of Queensland and Brisbane History Group (including at the inaugural Stories in Stone conference in 2024) and has had articles published in the Queensland History Journal.
